Urgent: Chinese premier says China ready to address trade concerns with Canada via dialogue

NEW YORK, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Li Qiang said here on Tuesday that China stands ready to address each other's economic and trade concerns through dialogue and consultation with Canada.

In his meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney on the sidelines of the general debate of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, Li called on the two sides to deepen and expand mutually beneficial cooperation in energy, green development, tourism and other fields.

Li also expressed the hope that Canada will provide a fair and non-discriminatory business environment for Chinese companies in Canada.
