China extends anti-dumping probe into Canadian rapeseed imports

BEIJING, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) -- China's Ministry of Commerce said Friday that it will extend the ongoing anti-dumping probe into imported rapeseed from Canada.

Given the complexity of the case, and following relevant regulations, the ministry has decided to extend the probe until March 9, 2026, said a statement on the ministry's website.

The anti-dumping probe into Canadian rapeseed imports was launched on Sept. 9, 2024. On Aug. 12, 2025, the ministry issued a preliminary ruling, and decided to impose provisional anti-dumping measures in the form of deposits on those imports.
